Elsie Davey Sullivan

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elsie Davey Sullivan, who left us peacefully on January 2, at the age of almost 86.

Elsie was born on January 19, 1939 in the district of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her unwavering love, kindness, and strength. A woman of great character, she dedicated her life to caring for her parish, community, family and friends, always putting the needs of others above her own. Her spirit, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Sharleen and devoted son-in-law Yves Hamel and Richard Pazder, her grandchildren Jade (Keith Glibbery), Amanda Pazder, Thomas Pazder (Luciel Rios), Raina and Anria Hamel, and her surviving siblings June and Peter Davey, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Jim Sullivan and her beloved children Robert "Bobby" Sullivan and June Pazder Sullivan.

Elsie will be exposed at the Coop funeral home in Rouyn-Noranda, Thursday January 9th, 2025, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.  A funeral service will be held on January 10th at 14h, at her parish of Blessed Sacrament.

Should friends or family wish to make donations in lieu of flowers, her favourite charities were, anything Cancer related and Covenant House.

She will forever be remembered for her boundless love, her wisdom, her guidance and the light she brought into all our lives.
