1954-2022

Pikogan: In loving memory of Mrs. Evelyn Roy who passed away at Maison du Bouleau Blanc in Amos on December 19, 2022 at the age of 68. She was a resident of Pikogan, daughter of the late Melvin J. Roy and the late Isabel Dey.

Mrs. Roy is survived by her loving husband Lylas Polson; her children: Deborah, Laureen, Wabigwan (Jason Rupert) and Inimiki (Leigh-Ann Pepabano); her grandchildren: Owen, Shayna, John-Alfred, Afeni, Gabriel, Haven, Katie, Anna-Grace, Reuben, Kyle and Logan; her 2 great-grandchildren: Xavier and April; her 2 brothers: William (Ruth) and Jim Roy (Isabel); her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, her nephews and nieces as well as many relatives and friends.

Mrs. Roy’s exposition will be held at Sainte-Catherine Church of Pikogan 40 Rue Tom Rankin in Amos on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., also Friday, December 23, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The funeral will take place on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Sainte-Catherine Church in Pikogan.

Burial will take place at a later date.

The family would like to thank the oncology team at the Royal Victoria-Glen site for the good care provided as well as all the staff at La Maison du Bouleau Blanc of Amos.

Outre son conjoint, Madame Roy laisse dans le deuilses enfants: Deborah, Laureen, Wabigwan (Jason Rupert) et Inimiki (Leigh-Ann Pepabano); ses petits-enfants: Owen, Shayna, John-Alfred, Afeni, Gabriel, Haven, Katie, Anna-Grace, Reuben, Kyle et Logan; ses 2 arrière-petits-enfants: Xavier et April; ses 2 frères: William (Ruth) et Jim Roy (Isabel); ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs; ses neveux et nièces ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis (es).

Madame Roy sera exposée à l'Église Sainte-Catherine de Pikogan 40 Rue Tom Rankin à Amos le mercredi 21 décembre 2022, de 19 h à 22 h, le jeudi 22 décembre 2022, de 10 h à 12 h, de 12 h à 17 h et de 17 h à 22 h, ainsi que le vendredi 23 décembre 2022, de 10 h à 15 h.

Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 23 décembre 2022 à 15 h en l'Église Sainte-Catherine de Pikogan.

L'inhumation aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
