C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès soudain et inattendu d’Isabella « Izzy » Palmateer, survenu le 22 mai 2026 à l’âge de 14 ans. Elle laisse un vide profond dans le cœur de tous ceux qui l’ont connue et aimée.

Née le 20 mai 2012, Izzy était la fille chérie de Michael et Sarah Palmateer. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses parents, ses sœurs Lea et Aubrey, ses grands-parents Joan, Bill, Carol et Doug, ainsi qu’un large cercle de tantes, d’oncles, de cousins, cousines et d’amis qui chérissent chaque moment passé en sa présence.

Âme profondément sensible et créative, Izzy ressentait tout avec intensité et aimait farouchement ceux qui l’entouraient. Son intelligence, sa créativité et sa passion faisaient d’elle une personne véritablement inoubliable pour tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de croiser son chemin.

Une cérémonie commémorative pour célébrer la belle vie et l’esprit lumineux d’Izzy aura lieu le 4 juin 2026, de 10 h à 16 h, au centre communautaire de la TFN, situé au 9, chemin Duncan, Notre-Dame-du-Nord (QC). Tous sont les bienvenus pour se joindre à nous et honorer la mémoire d’Izzy.

It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Isabella "Izzy" Palmateer on May 22nd 2026 at the age of 14.  She leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. 

Born on May 20th 2012, Izzy was the cherished daughter of Michael and Sarah Palmateer.  She leaves behind her parents, as well as her siblings, Lea and Aubrey, her grandparents, Joan, Bill, Carol and Doug, as well as a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who cherish every moment spent with her.

As a deeply sensitive and creative soul, Izzy felt things intensely and cared fiercely for those around her. Her combination of intelligence, creativity and passion made her a truly unforgettable person to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

A memorial service to celebrate Izzy's beautiful life and spirit will be held on June 4th 2026, at 10am to 4pm at the TFN community centre, located at 9 Duncan Road, Notre-Dame-du-Nord, QC.  All are welcome to attend and help us honour Izzy's memory.
