La Coopérative Funéraire du Témiscamingue vous informe du décès de Madame Lucie Gionet épouse de Richard (Rickie) Young de Témiscaming. Elle est décédée le 1 octobre 2022, à l’âge de 57 ans.

La famille de Mme Lucie Gionet invite parents et amis à se joindre à elle pour se recueillir le vendredi 7 octobre de 13h30 à 15h00 à l’arrière de l’église Ste-Thérèse de Témiscaming. Les funérailles suivront à 15h00. L’inhumation se fera en privée.

Madame Lucie Gionet laisse dans le deuil son époux : Rickie Young; ses enfants : Sheldon Young (Ashlyn Hale), Alexandra Gionet (Marc-André Aubin), ses petits-enfants qu’elle adoraient: William, Théo et Clara Aubin.

Elle laisse également son frère : Yvon Gionet (Laurie McNally); ses beaux-parents : Sonia et Regis Young, sa belle-sœur : Rhonda Young (Guy Blanchard), son beau-frère : Robbie Young (Jackie Honen) ainsi que plusieurs, neveux et nièces, oncles, tantes, autres parents et amis.

Elle est partie rejoindre ses parents : Jacqueline Desjardins et Donald Gionet, son demi-père : Léo Legresley, sa sœur : Lise, son frère : Pete, ainsi que sa chienne bien aimée : Mollie.

Lucie était une âme généreuse, qui aimait farouchement sa famille et ses amis. Son courage et sa détermination à mener sa bataille contre le cancer étaient vraiment inspirants. Son doux souvenir restera à jamais dans nos cœurs.

LaCoopérative funéraire du Témiscamingue informs you of the passing of Ms. Lucie Gionet spouse of Richard (Rickie) Young, from Témiscaming. She passed away on October 1^st. 2022, at the age of 57.

The family invites family and friend for a viewing on Friday October 7^th. from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ste-Theresa church in Temiscaming. The funeral will follow at 3 o’clock. The burial will take place in private.

Ms. Lucie Gionet is survived by her husband: Rickie Young, her son: Sheldon Young (Ashlyn Hale), her daughter: Alexandra Gionet (Marc-André Aubin), her grandchildren she adored: William, Theo and Clara Aubin.

She also leaves behind her brother: Yvon Gionet (Laurie McNally), her in-laws: Sonia and Regis Young, her sister-in-law: Rhonda Young (Guy Blanchard), her brother-in-law: Robbie Young (Jackie Honen), as well as many nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts, other relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents: Jacqueline Desjardins and Donald Gionet, her half-father: Léo Legresley, her sister Lise, her brother Pete, and her precious dog Mollie.

Lucie was a kind and generous soul who loved her family and friends fiercely. Her courage and determination to fight her battle with cancer was truly inspiring. Her loving memory will forever remain in our hearts.

The family invites you to make a donation to the palliative care unit at the Temiscaming hospital.
