Rouyn-Noranda : Est décédée au CHSLD de Rouyn-Noranda, le 22 janvier 2025, à l'âge de 92 ans, Madame Olga Sotiroff Eder, domiciliée à Rouyn-Noranda, fille de feu Spas Sotiroff et de feu Elenka Toderova, épouse de feu Reinhold Eder.

Madame Sotiroff Eder laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Howard (Marie-Gaëlle Scrive) et Heidi; sa petite-fille : Gabrielle; sa soeur : feu Victoria Button; son neveu et sa nièce : Paul Button et Lorraine Burns (Tom) ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis (es).

Olga était une personne remarquable, il est difficile de la décrire en quelques mots. Son doux rire et son joli sourire resteront gravés pour toujours dans la mémoire de ceux et celles qui l'ont connue et aimée.

La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel du 3e étage du CHSLD Pie-XII pour les bons soins prodigués.

Selon les dernières volontés de Madame Sotiroff Eder il n'y aura aucune exposition ni funérailles.

L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Notre-Dame de Rouyn-Noranda, puis il se tiendra une célébration de la vie à une date ultérieure.

Rouyn-Noranda: In loving memory of Mrs. Olga Sotiroff Eder, who passed away at the Pie XII long term care facility in Rouyn-Noranda, on January 22, 2025, at the age of 92. She was a resident of Rouyn-Noranda, and the daughter of the late Spas Sotiroff and the late Elenka Toderova, and wife of the late Reinhold Eder.

Mrs. Sotiroff Eder is survived by her children: Howard (Marie-Gaëlle Scrive) and Heidi; her granddaughter Gabrielle; her late sister Victoria Button; her nephew and niece: Paul Button and Lorraine Burns (Tom); as well as many relatives and friends.

Olga was such a special person and it is hard to describe her in a few words. Her gentle laugh and beautiful smile will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank all the staff on the 3rd floor of the Pie-XII facility for the good care provided.

According to Mrs. Sotiroff Eder’s the last wishes, there will be no funeral service at the moment.

Burial will take place at the Notre-Dame cemetery of Rouyn-Noranda, followed by a celebration of life at a later date.
